Born Lamar Parker in his hometown of Durham, NC, Loki Parks is an extraordinarily talented cinematographer who's worked as director of photography on many projects such as "Durham the New Jack City"; an indie film released on Youtube amassing over 500,000 views. He attended Winston Salem State University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. Loki’s love for music and desire to create commercials, saw him pick up a camera which developed into a love for being behind the lens.
Parker was able to create successful video marketing campaigns with popular talents around the RDU area, such as Markee Steele, Autumn Joi, Black Money, Trez Falsetto, and Raging Babe. He's built rapport with companies such as Athletes Foot, Hustle Gang, Empire Distribution, Cinematic Music Group, RadioOne, Durham Parks and Recreation, Durham Public Schools and Thee Marquee Recordings.
Loki’s versatility of interests has also diversified his portfolio, as Director of Photography for North Carolina State Senator Natalie Murdock for her 2020 Campaign launch video. Loki started working with Markee Steele in October of 2018. Loki began assisting the marketing of Markee Steele’s acclaimed LP “It’s Been A Minute". The cinematographer's talents helped develop an online campaign through promo commercials and music videos. Loki continues to assist Markee Steele with compelling new content and videos, enriching the vision from imagination to visual content.
